I was hearing, surrounded by, the whole world singing in harmony, 'We are world, we are the Children', the Band-aid release. I realised the hidden meaning- that in actuality we are all the members that make up the world. There is no separation between us and this and especially in the case of the children, the most vulnerable and sensetive part of humanity.
Comment- The words echoed around my head and reminded me of those by Jiddhu Krishnamurti- we are indeed the world. In this there is hope, as through little acts of kindness we can influence it for the better. We must be brave enough to care and to reach out to our fellow-beings in need. This is love, life and the true reality..

Singapore
I was seeing the latest video by a techno-group, a remix of a Jimi Hendrix song that they made for the new Millennium. They had decided to film the skyline of a city that seemed like Singapore. Skyscrapers were stretching into the sky and what looked like models of inter-racial couples were embracing beneath the vast sunset.
But then the camera continued to pan onto what looked like a chaotic mess of containers and rubbish in backstreets near the port. I hear the band's voice- "We made this to show how waste and sludge is spreading all over the world, threatening to engulf it. We have to save our planet before it is too late"

Music Videos
I, half asleep, was treated to the most amazing series of music videos. I've never heard of the artists, but their strong, pulsing rhythms were with me even after I woke up. The videos themselves had amazing sound-quality and were shown as moving holograms. It was as if I was watching some sort of future MTV.
Comment- Maybe next time I should try humming them into a microphone. They really are that good!
