Another Dimention to WW2 (29/06/2006)

With M and D, walking in some ruins in the evening, talking about the end of WW2 and of Japan's role. We hear and sing the song 'You are everybody' that Charlie sings in the TV series 'Lost'. We decide to go back in time to see what really happened to other people, who were really us too, back in that time.

We see a massive machine like a flying beetle with a laser in the nose, that Japan made many of during the war, cutting through things with it's nose-laser. We see something using similar technology made by Holland and go, 'ah they copied that and made it better'. We seem to be debating on how original japan can be or whether really everything is in some way copied.

The scene cuts to a young, modern-day commentator. She is commenting on a sports program, where robot-buggies with a small laser-gun in the top of their windshield are moving through marshes. She says that they will look back at stories of the difficult things that Japanese soldiers went through when fighting in such places.

There are a small group on jet-bikes, wearing goggles. They are facing remote-controlled mini- machine guns that had been set up by the Dutch. They seem to be in groups of three, the fire coming from many angles. Seeing them and moving around the area, the scene cut to a computer display. They had been set up to perfectly cover a lot of the area and the group were looking for gaps through which to travel. Changing to a car, they found that they were being pursued. Most of them are women and good friends, yet there is only one thing for it. One of them needs to get out of the car and soak her jeans in the marsh water to reduce the scent and make them harder to follow. She doesn't really want to do this as it goes against the purity of Japanese women and their delicacy, but there is nothing else for it. In the process, her and her friend have lost a lot of blood and are exhausted- they would dearly love to take a rest but the pursuers are just too close. They start up again and this time are on a highway, where they are surrounded by other vehicles going at great speed. It is hard to drive and weave between them in this state, but they have no choice...

Then the alarm went.
